Cindy's backing out on me yet again
Yesterday I called my mom and invited her out here to visit me, since I haven't seen her since the middle of June. I asked if she wanted to come the weekend of July 23rd, and she could carpool with a friend of TJ's mom so she wouldn't be alone for the 4.5 hour car ride. Apparently she doesn't miss me much, as she turned me down for the visit. She said "I've got to plan a graduation party, and I'll see you two weeks from then anyway." This is pretty hypocritical considering I'll be home early for my grad party to do said planning/cooking/cleaning, and when it comes to Jim, two days without seeing him is tourture; she says "I *only* get to see Jim twice a week, so I can't miss out on dates just because you're home now." But when it comes to seeing her daughter once a month, NOOOOO. WTF?!

Yeah I'm starting to get used to it, considering she does this on what seems like a regular basis now.You'd think she'd want to see her daughter that she NEVER gets to see more than a once a summer basis...guess not.
Yeah, Jimbo was on vacation for a whole week, which was while Tim and Kathleen were here. He left the day of the company picnic. Steve and I waited for her to get there (we were ready to leave 45 mins before this) and so we got her some food, and we were sitting down to play some bingo, when suddenly, guess who calls. She sat there and talked to him for 15 mins. I almost got up and left, but Steve really wanted to play Bingo, so we stayed. So yeah, thats the real reason why she isn't coming down to see you, she is "catching up" with Jimbo, since he was gone for a whole week!
I figured as much. I'm debating whether or not to stay at home or even tell her I'm in EC for the wedding TJ is in. (It's the w/e of Aug 10-14). The only thing keeping me from paying her the same courtesy she did me is the fact that I miss my dog and want to see him. Maybe she'll be gone working and I will get to see my dog and get to avoid her...
