Found 'em!

I believe I have found my bridesmaid dresses! Here are their pics. I won't have them in two-tone like the pictures, they'll be all one color, and the back-view makes it look like it's extremely form-fitting, but I believe the model is just standing like an idiot 'cause the front one looks like there's a lot of loose fabric.

I was more productive today that this isn't all I did. It was fun to look though. I got my christmas shopping done for my mom and I also picked up something for TJ. I have no idea what my sister wants this year so I'll have to look into that and get on the ball. I'm excited to be done with biostats. I've hit beyond-burnout and am almost ready to say screw it, if it wasn't for a certain dental school relying on these grades. I'm so stressed out lately that my nightmares are coming back. I couldn't get back to sleep at all last night after one. I also need to pack for my mother's arrival on Saturday. I haven't packed a single thing. I'll take care of it tomorrow I guess. All I've eaten today are pop tarts and some pretzels for meals. Autumn went to a Barenaked Ladies concert in the cities tonight. I'm so jealous and wish I could've gone with her, but the tickets were $50 and I don't have that kind of money, so I'll just have to admire her. I wonder when she gets back... Ok I'm getting to bed to prevent being fried yet again tomorrow. Goodnight!

p.s. the dresses are satin and look less faded and ratty than the pictures on my blog here. I know the posting tonight was random, but that's the kind of day I've been having. 'Night!

uh, Cathy, the only place that there is room on them is at the legs, they look extreemly form fitting, and extreemly expensive. I also don't see how they would look good on everyone either.

Those dresses are BEAUTIFUL. Wow. A girl would really feel like a princess for a day, wearing a dress like that. You have flawless taste, Cat, they are gorgeous.

I know for a fact that they're LESS than $200, and of course they're not gonna look like a tent at the waist. You don't want a dress that's baggy at the waist or chest. You get them sized to fit you, and I do believe they'd look good on everyone. I'll have Megan try it on first to make sure, but I really think this is the one.

And Southerncanadian, thank you very much :o)

The rear picture is funny, it's like the Jessica Rabbit wannabe model has her legs crossed so she looks like she actually curves.

"See? I'm a real woman, I promise! I only ate two saltines for breakfast, but I swear I curve!"

I still think the dress is gorgeous, though, and the front view is probably the more realistic one.

HAHAHA, I love your depiction of the model! I hope I can find it in a store soon to see what it will look like on normal people. It reminds me a lot of the yellow dress Kate Hudson's character wore on How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I'm almost tempted to buy one off the bridesmaids when the wedding is done, I just really like the cut.

Sold!!! you can buy mine! I'm also concerned because the anorexic model's ass looks big too! It looks like something that would look good on skinny people (southerncanadian you sound skinny with your saltine crackers) but not so much on lumpy people like me. Janines bridesmaid dresses look good on everyone, and her bridesmaids are all different sizes. I am also a bit afraid of having a boob fall out, since it is backless, even a strapless bra won't work

Yeah I was concerned about the backless part too. I have a strapless backless bra that actually holds pretty well. I think I got it at Victoria's Secret, or I heard for those of us bigger-on-top women that Lane Bryant has some good ones like that too. I'm gonna have to check them out for my stuff too.
As for the model's ass thing, she's just standing with her legs crossed to make it look like she might have curves. The Saltine comment was as if southerncanadian was speaking on behalf of that model.
I also want to add again that I'll make sure and have people try it on first, so I can make sure it will look good on everyone. I'm certainly not out to make only certain people look bad. It's not in stores yet (it's brand spankin' new), so when it comes around, I'll do my homework on it to figure it out for sure.

Cat, as you suggested on Friday...I'm still curious to see whether the dresses have any type of built-in support. If not, or if it's too flimsy, then we have an adventure in funny-looking lingerie shopping! Mall of America, anyone?
